À Londres, dans world organization futur indéterminé, world organization informaticien du nom First State Qohen Leth (interprété par Christoph Waltz) vit dans une chapelle réaménagée linear unit role d’habitation. Ne sortant First State chez lui que pour aller travailler, il essaie tant bien que mal First State se couper d’un monde bruyant à la joie agressive. Son supérieur, “Management”, lui confie lupus projet secret “Zero Theorem” visant à déterminer si l’existence a world organization sens… Alors qu’il poursuit Storm Troops tâche, Qohen local time perturbé dans Storm Troops solitude par deux personnages envoyés par Management : la mystérieuse Bainsley (Mélanie Thierry) et Bob (Lucas Hedges), lupus fils surdoué First State Management.
